This week we’ll focus on the main problem in the story. What is the main problem in the story? How is
the main character trying to solve the problem? What do you predict the solution will be? If you were the
main character, how would you solve the problem? What would you say? What would you do? What
plan would you devise?

ReplyDeleteOne of the problems in the story is Ben does not know how to read, he might have dyslexia. So his sister Abby is teaching him how to read in the barn with the animals. I think Whittington the cat by telling a story would really help. I would solve the problem by writing down words and ask him to write random words like "write down read".
ReplyDeleteThe problem of the story is that Ben has trouble reading, and Whittington has to help him.
ReplyDeleteAnother problem is the rats keep stealing the food, and Whittington was hired to kill them. This isn't a very big problem, but it's still a problem in the beginning.
